Hi All, I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this matter. As we are aware, the “Apply Symbology from Layer” tool is typically used to apply symbology from a specified layer or layer file to multiple layers. This implies a many-to-one relationship between the input layers and the symbology layer. However, in my situation, I am interested in creating a model that accommodates many-to-many relationships between the input layers and the symbology layers. To simplify, suppose I have two maps, each containing approximately 40 different feature classes (points, polygons, lines) sourced from two geodatabases. Is it feasible to develop a model that facilitates matching symbol properties from layers in Map A to corresponding layers in Map B, similar to the screenshots provided? I would like to emphasize that both geodatabases feature classes are having identical names for their respective feature classes. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you Randy and Richard. I really appreciate your effort on this. It's my first time that I am dealing with ArcMap scripts, and yeah it's my fault that I did not show the real data relations from the beginning.I thought that graduating in problem may be much better. Thank you for your understanding. Fatin Rimawi

Thank you Randy. Why not to locate the produced Feature class where the mutual field is located? For example, if we have "x" as a mutual value for the set: (x,y,z,k), the new feature should be produced as same as the location of "x" in FC1. Best, Fatin

Hi Richard, The mutual field “community name” is the place that the other communities come to do elections, so this field could be filled with portion value. For example, (x,y,z,k) has a mutual community which is “x”, so one should conclude that x is the community that y, z, and k doing their election there. At the beginning, my idea was as same as yours, but after showing the results to my team, they suggested to concatenate the values from one FC to another. This can reduce the data entry works and the errors. It is much easier to audit one FC than auditing many FCs. Best, Fatin

In addition to the previous conditions, Is it possible to reduce the work of data entry person by using new field that can connect and concatenate all features? This can reduce the percentage of error. Am I right? Kindly notice the following the screenshot to clarify my point.

Hi Randy, Could you please notice the bellow 2 screenshots? It seems that the python concatenate all the values that have the same ref. However, some values should be considered as a stand alone point, even though it is have the same letter in the Ref. The Ref= Governarate abbreviation_number of community in this geovernarate. The point here is concatenate the values in FC2 with FC1, but with a condition: The communities that don't have any concatenate with other community, it's Ref should stay as it. no need to merge it with other values. What do you think? Best, Fatin

Hi Randy, I tried your suggestion but i noticed the following: 1.You entered the values on "table 1" manually. We want the python to read the values direct without any need to write them manually. 2.We want the new REF field to be filled depending on the values of other fields, not on a new table. its like copy and paste. What do you think? Best, Fatin

Hi Richard, You are right. This type of incorrect data can be produced by person who entered the data "data entry". However, these kinds of data should be edited to the correct value"(x,y,z,k)" for this case. To clarify the values that should be written on our REF fields, kindly notice the following examples: Tu001,Tu920,Tu020...etc. Best, Fatin
