Justin, it's now working. We contacted our solutions engineer and he got the right people involved to help. I think it was just that the certificate had not been updated/modified for our domain. Thanks!

Hi, Yesterday we set a custom domain for our Hub site but, after 24 hours, are still seeing a certificate error. The cert that comes with site is currently still the wildcard for hub.arcgis.com: Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thomas, do you know if this has been addressed or is going to be. We just upgraded to the 4.5 API and still see the issue. Thanks, Quinn

Thomas, I see the same behavior in LayerList but not the others I checked (Legend, Basemap Gallery and Print). I've included another picture of the search performance profile from IE. The animation frame callback references the JS API 4.4 line 341 column 417. Thanks.

Hi, The Search Widget at 4.x consistently and constantly causes an Animation Frame Callback which requires computing resources. This happens regardless of map or search activity. See attached picture from IE performance profile. On a machine with a modest CPU this uses between 10-25% CPU. Try this: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/sandbox/index.html?sample=widgets-search-multiplesource and check the dev tools for to see the animation frame callback or system resources to see browser CPU usage. Is this a Bug? Thanks

It's been a while but I believe we just deleted the config store directory then navigated to the Server Manager page in a browser. From there we proceeded through the set-up steps which builds the config store directory. We were starting from a clean install on all our machines so there was no worry with deleting the directory (we could always go back to doing a full re-install). In your case, you can probably rename the config store directory or cut and paste to a temporary location, then try the setup through server manager. Good luck

Same Problem. Did you ever find a solution to this? Can limit features to map extent using a Feature Layer in OnDemand mode but it always gets the entire set of classes to populate the legend. Thanks ...

Problem solved: We're working in an ArcGIS Server site configuration with two machines on a Domain account. The Domain account password had expired and was only reset on one of the machines in the site. When a token request was initiated, the machine where the password was reset returned a valid token and the machine where the password was not reset returned an unauthorized message. This is why we were getting (seemingly) random unauthorized messages. Once the password was reset on both machines only valid tokens were returned. qpk

Hello, Should await --> async task, e.g. var credential = await IdentityManager.Current.GenerateCredentialTaskAsync("url", "user1", "pass.word1"); work in silverlight? When I try I get the message: "The await operator can only be used within an async method. Consider making this method with the 'async' modifier and changing its return type to 'Task'." Thanks.

Hello, We're generating tokens programmatically using code similar to what is suggested in the Silverlight API help: string tokenService = "http://hostname/ArcGIS/tokens?request=getToken&username=test&password=my.password&expiration=30"; System.Net.WebRequest request = System.Net.WebRequest.Create(tokenService); System.Net.WebResponse response = request.GetResponse(); System.IO.Stream responseStream = response.GetResponseStream(); System.IO.StreamReader readStream = new System.IO.StreamReader(responseStream); theToken = readStream.ReadToEnd(); Sometimes this generates the token successfully but other times we receive an unauthorized error. Using the tokens request page "http://hostname/ArcGIS/tokens" with the same user results in the same behavior. Is there a limit on the number of tokens a single user can request during a specific time period? If not, why do token requests work sometimes and not others? Thanks.

So it wasn't the firewall. Our config-store directory was corrupted. We rebuilt the config-store directory and everything worked after that.

A few notes on our configuration: Windows 7 Pro Domain account used for the ArcGIS Server account and the Datastore is on a network server where the domain account has full access. All firewalls are off BUT we're on a network where we have no control (see image) over how various computers communicate with each other...I suspect that communication from some of the necessary ports, specifically 4000+, is not being allowed on the network. This firewall issue doesn't explain the JSON error at all except in the case that one machine is trying to retrieve that object from the other machine through a blocked port and instead of providing a 'port closed' error it just says it can't get the object. These are dev machines so it's not a huge deal that we get this to work considering the hoops we'll need to jump through to verify then open communication between the machines on the ports they need. I'm curious to hear if others (who can access and manipulate their firewall and port config and) who are also seeing this error can make changes to their port config and get around this error. Thanks.

Hello, When attempting to add a new server machine to an ArcGIS Server site I get the following error: Failed to register the server machine {machine name}. JSONObject["dataItems"] not found. I've done reinstalls on both machines but still get the same error. Verbose logging does not provide any other clues. Not sure what else to do about this...Any help? Thanks.

Hello, I'd like to be able to set an active tablewindow (or tab). Using ITableWindow3.ActiveTableWindow, I can get the active tab but cannot set it. This is my basic setup: A user runs a tool that selects some features. If the table for the layer is not already open, the table is opened and is automatically set as the active tab in the Table window. If the table is already open along with other tables and is not the active tab, the selection is updated, but the table is not set as the active tab in the table window. Obviously, there is no set property for ITableWindow3.ActiveTableWindow (link to ArcObjects reference) but is there another way to do this? Thanks
