I am in rural central Virginia where mobile service can be unpredictable. We have used GeoForms to collect private cemetery location for sharing to appropriate state agency for protection. We are getting ready to revise/update the collection app. I'd like to use Survey123 but am afraid it may need hefty data connection that won't be universally available. So any technical analysis on which app is lightest when cellular data coverage is sporadic? Thanks

We have created a layer for reporting of historic sites. We want to build two geoforms off the same layer - one that is a quick survey and uses some of the fields and another that is a complete survey and uses all of the fields. we want the submitted data to reside in the same data layer so quick surveys can be updated with the full survey if warranted. When we try to build the short form and uncheck enabled for the detail level fields, they are still generated in the GeoForm. Even if we hide the detail fields in the underlying map document, they still show up in the field list for the GeoForm and in the resulting form that is generated. App is public and can be viewed here: GeoForm

Kelly - I am SO happy to find this. I have been losing sleep over iphone and my geoform and this secure image bug was source of my problem. Not sure why this particular post hasn't shown up in my previous searches so I'll try to add some additional tags. I had found the http and https problem for accessing the form - in order to get locate me button to work - but that fix didn't transfer to Apple platform. For iPhones, the locate me button showed up but the "Location could not be found" error popped up whenever you tried to use it. Looking forward to a permanent fix with this https problem - for me, merely changing the path to my image allowed #location services to work for all platforms. Thank You!

I have 2 GeoForms used to collect historic cemetery and grave reports. After directing users to use https, my Windows phone and Android users are having no problem. However, iPhone 6 users are getting an error message "Location could not be found." I have checked to make sure location services are on. I have checked setting to set Safari and Google to be allowed to access location. I have tried to access the form through both Safari and Chrome but still the persistent error message. Surely I must be missing something simple. . . . Thanks Here is a link to one of the forms. GeoForm

I have seen Ismael Chivite's grid for Collector, GeoForm and Survey123. I am currently using GeoForm but need my users (public) to capture an area. Someone responded on GeoNet that polygons were possible with Survey123 but when I tested the app it only seemed to be applicable to points. Can someone please clarify?

Thanks so much for responding. When I "try it", I only see point reports. Do you know where I might see a sample that includes the ability for a reporter to outline an area?

I have recorded a request to enhance geoform template with ability to capture #polygons. I see emphasis on Collector (not great for crowd sourcing) and Survey123 (not great because requires app download). We'd like to see polygons added to #GeoForms because that options is so easily shared!
