@JeffMertzXcel now I am intrigued; we just had ESRI run us through a 2023 to 2024.1 upgrade. @GeoJosh ; do you know if this has been tested/used with 2025?

I think you will see one of the major elements is the use of the graphics drivers at the OS level for Printing functionality and services.

It would be great to see #ESRI step-up with a upgrade/patch letting us point to Azure-Maps the same way we are able to access the now deprecated Bing-Maps services.

Looking at the posts, the second one isn't even released yet; Publisher ‏ : ‎ Esri Press (November 4, 2025) And the first one is very dated and for older versions.

What would be really good; is a option to have the tutorial/class point to your On-Prem instance with URLS versus always depending on AGOL resources. This way you have users using your environment with your configurations to access Living-Atlas content; without the added hit of managing users in AGOL who will NEVER use that as a resources.

Consider that every dedicated map-service is a servlet; which has a memory footprint. How many Shared-Instance engines do you have with services configured for those? I have split a lot of my load between my hosting/map-server and batch-services; so I can have submitted data with 100Ks of rows running separate without hitting my transaction lookup functions.

Why is it a Experience can't just be shared to a group; but has to be shared to the Enterprise and the Group. Hard to control access.

That is a wonderful question; and we are working on tasks going in this route. We are plugging GIS Request Management to get updates from our Workflow Manager, but I think we will also be looking at pushing workflow jobs also from the GIS Request Manager.

You will need to go into the WebMap and add the new layer from the AGS service; these do not automatically update when you update a nested/reference service. You can either remove and readd the service, or browse to that layer in the AGS restendpoint, copy the URL for that layer then add it as a separate reference to your WebMap.

@JeffMertzXcel then it isn't really upgrading, it's installing another instance that you would need to uninstall the older one. Or am I missing something?

Yes, but even as was noted in the Plenary at the UC was the acknowledgement that they still had gaps in functionality and were not in parity. We still are not hearing where things are in parity.
