Thanks for the reply, Isaac — really appreciate it! I definitely agree with your approach. I don’t plan on adjusting the UN model to fit our current EAM setup. Our existing system has a lot of unused types, null values, and some misconfigured asset classifications, so this feels like the right time to “get it right” and clean things up. I’m not the EAM expert here, but I believe we do have the ability to query feature classes or services from within Infor. Still, your point about isolating asset types through definition queries is a great reminder, and I’ll keep that in mind as we start to piece things together. I’ve got a general vision of how everything should function, but I’m still a bit unsure about the exact order of operations for how it’ll all come together. Your experience definitely helps frame some of those next steps more clearly — thanks again!

Good morning, I'm reaching out to see if anyone has gone through — or is currently in the process of — migrating to the Utility Network and has had to make changes to their asset management system to align with the UN schema. Bonus points if you're using Infor Public Sector! I'd really appreciate the opportunity to connect and learn more about what tasks or changes were involved during your migration. Thanks in advance!

Hi Robert, Is it possible to get the recording from last week's meeting? I am not sure if that is posted somewhere or not. I wanted to share the solution the gentlemen from Washington demoed in the meeting with my operations supervisor if possible. Thanks!

Hello, I just want to verify there is still a meetup tomorrow. I am not sure if they are cancelled if there isn't a certain # of folks attending. Thanks!

Just wanted to point out that there are pre-defined attribute rules already in place that come across if you're using a foundation asset package from ESRI.

Hi there- We're loving the GIS Request management solution. One area that would be great to have is a place for the user to keep notes and add internal task list to help the user organize the request. This would allow the user not to have a separate tracking program per request to help complete the request.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has come across these errors when running the Create Simple Data Mapping tool? I have troubleshooted the error down to adding in values of domains we have in our system to the 'Create Simple Data Mapping Source Type' table, such as DIAM (diameter) that is shared across many layers in our GN. When I remove all values from the table, the tool will run fine. But when I add just one (DIAM), it causes the following error. I was going to put in a tech support ticket, but I have a feeling this might not be supported from their end so I thought i'd post here. Thanks in advance! Brett Rosso City of Longmont Colorado

@KyleOberg @RussRoberts Was this ever resolved? Also trying to get the transportation style for use to build a traffic control web application which they need MUTCD signs for. Still getting the spinning circle. Have an open case with tech support but haven't resolved it yet. Thanks in advance! Brett Rosso City of Longmont

Hi all! I work for a local government in which we're looking to achieve some goals around our reconcile and post process. Specifically timing and how to ensure we don't have conflicts (and if we do the best way to manage them). I am curious how other organizations' schedules are with reconcile and post and how you currently managing it. Background info: We have a fairly simple version tree as shown below. We currently have an automated python script that does our reconcile and post at 5:30am on Wednesday mornings. It does everything we need it to do but in the last year with more editors we've had a lot more conflicts between child versions and default to child versions for various reasons. We all know conflicts happen but unfortunately for us we have an asset management system that cannot have our python script re-run after conflicts occur because it disconnects our users and causes and issue with services rebooting *different topic for another time*. Therefore when we have conflicts it causes us headaches because if we allow users to continue editing, its can continue to cause problems that (I can expand further if need be) Therefore our goal is to be conflict-free ahead of the automated script on late Tuesday afternoons in which we plan on doing a manual reconcile and post to default and not allow anyone to edit after it is complete so that the automated reconcile and post can do the other tasks such as deleting versions, compressing, rebuild indexes, etc. Does anyone have a better idea than what I proposed above? We initially were thinking of doing a manual reconcile and post on Friday afternoons but we worried about editors editing the same features which can happen and cause a conflict. Any thoughts would be awesome. Thanks for reading!

Hi Jeff, Here's a screenshot. What we're trying to figure out is why exactly certain versions and the folks that are using the versions are getting this particular error. It has come up out of the blue and hasn't been an issue before but only the geoprocessing log is giving us this info that 'The item does not have a definition'

Hi, We're reaching out to see if anyone has received the following error message in the geoprocessing log from an auto reconcile script where you receive an error message saying The item does not have a definition. after the reconcile version fails. ----------------------------------- [11/17/2021 5:33:10 AM] Starting reconcile. [11/17/2021 5:33:16 AM] Finished reconcile. -------------------------------------- If anyone has an idea of what this error is meaning or encountered it before, I'd appreciate it! Working with ESRI tech support now but not coming up with anything definite. Brett Rosso, GISP City of Longmont

Hi Bruce, I am trying to get this tool to work but cannot get past this error: I projected both parcel layers to the same coordinate system so I do not understand how the spatial references do not agree. I am using a trial copy of ArcGIS Pro 2.4.3 because our enterprise agreement does not come with data interoperability extension. Could you please advise further? We installed ArcGIS Maps for Office last summer and had an issue with just normally copy and pasting from one cell to another. When copy and pasting it will give you a ')' in the cell. I uninstalled ArcGIS Maps for Office and it's still doing the same thing. I believe it's corrupted my Microsoft Office.

@scott ball After installing ArcGIS maps for office i've encountered quite a few issues: 1) I can no longer copy and paste from one cell to another all I get in the destination cell is: I cannot figure out what it is going on. I put a helpdesk ticket in but haven't gotten a reply back yet. 2) When I am doing things like switching to different sheets in a workbook, or simply trying to exit out of excel I get this really great error: There is really no rhyme or reason for when this error shows up. I am about to the point where I am just going to uninstall ArcGIS Maps for Office so I can do simple things like cut and paste again. This did not happen before I installed AMFO. Here is what I am running:
