i'm sorry i am not being clear when i click the icon to open the streetview widget i dont get a chance to use the little man because the window where the street view would appear replaces the viewer. i can see the widget opening briefly but then the second window opens and replaces the viewer and the widgets with the blank window. ... Robert i have an issue with the google streetview i am trying to use in on an iPad. the browser is non-standard as we are using the Citrix WorXweb so the issue might be with that but maybe you have an idea..here is the scenario... when i click the icon to start the streetmap widget i see the box that has the header 'google street view' but then very quickly the window that on the PC is blank until i drag the google person to a street opens, but  and hers is the problem, what it does is open in the same 'tab' as the viewer, as a result i just see a blank box with a url like this: https://gisportal.mwra.net/gisviewer/widgets/streetview/images/icon.png and the viewer has been replaced. i guess the question is: do you know of a way to alter the code so that this window would open in a new tab? ... hi robert a couple questions... is it safe to move up to vesrion 10.4? for arcserver and portal and arcmap? and second when i build a query and do NOT check the box that allows users to 'specify a parameter for the search' the box with the value i have entered is still visible and actually editable. it might be a nice enhancement in the future if the  box with the value was not visible. i am afraid users will change the value and if they do that the query will not work. ... Robert, et al. i have an odd situation that maybe one of you have stumbled over. i have a print service setup in portal that points to a different server than portal is installed on. so it uses the webadapter url. the webadaptor is set in IIS to have AD authentication. i can paste the printer mapservice into a browser and i see the parameters but when i click on the print tool and attempt to build a maps output it fails. i can however see the various layouts that i have made available. the error has to do with authentication. i know this because if i set the webadaptor to analynomous the print tool works. there are layers in the map that are protected by AD authentication so when i change the webadapter i no longer see these layer. ... Robert, i just found an odd bit of behavior. Maybe you know if it is a 'feature'. i have build a WAB app and downloaded it (it uses your latest esearch and the 1.3 (latest) version of the WAB. after downloading i unzip and copy the app to the wwwroot directory when i open the downloaded app and zoom to an area and then close and re-open the url both IE and Chrome zoom me to the last location i was viewing and display whatever layers i had turned on or off. this isn't happening with my development enviroment, but i have 1.2 install there still. any ideas? i have cleared the history of course. glenn ...
