Utility Network

Posted by RFernandes-esristaff Employee Nov 21, 2017

For all of you engineers out there, find out how you can begin to use the new Utility Network.

Esri created a new extension specifically for engineers in the electric, gas, water, sewer, and stormwater industries. It's called the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension and it's designed to improve the way you deliver, manage, and analyze your data.

Autodesk and Esri, global leaders in BIM and GIS, are partnering to drive the integration of spatial intelligence and 3D design model information.  Connecting “The Science of Where” to “Make Anything”. More and more information and resource are slowing becoming available to learn about this collaboration and benefits it will bring.

Here are some of the resources to get more information:

- Esri landing page - Autodesk & Esri | Ready to make anything, anywhere

Welcome and thanks for joining AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) space on GeoNet! To get started we invite you to first review the group features on the landing page  and familiarize yourself with the group info, admins and GeoNet 101 information in the left column.

As you explore the group, you’ll also find tools to connect and collaborate so we encourage you to use them to share files, create blogs, ask/answer questions and read the latest blogs posts and join discussions.

Next, we invite you to post a comment below to say “hello" and introduce yourself and share what engineering applications you’re most interested in learning about.

We’re excited to connect and collaborate with you and we look forward to seeing your contributions.
