Python in ArcGIS Online

Hello,

Wasn't sure whether to put this in here or in the AGOL forum. Just a simply question really, do fields using Python calculation worth in AGOL? And can these calculations be automated?

I am creating a map for the collection of tree data and would like to be able to create a field that automatically updates based on another field while the technicians are collecting the data. Only just dipping my toe into GIS so still working out what is possible.

Andy,

Scripts like that won't work in AGOL. You can however have a copy in ArcGIS Dektop of that data. Just run your script there and then sync your data with the ArcGIS Online data.
