I am having trouble building a model to summarize statistics in point data selected by a user defined polygon.
There was a post on here about the same thing but I can not seem to find it anywhere anymore.
I have a feature set polygon layer in my model as a parameter, and am trying to get a SUM of values in a field from point data on my map. I have the Summary Statistics tool set to sum up these values and return them in a table.
My problem is that my polygon does not ever 'close' or 'finish' drawing and when I run my tool it returns back the sum of values for all the points in the map instead of what is contained in the polygon I drew.
Is this possibly a bug? Or am I missing something?
