I've created a story map template and a csv file using the csv template.  I've uploaded my photos and thumbnails to flickr and have ccopied the url link to the csv file.  When I open the story map, the content of the csv file (lat, long, description etc) are included but the imagery isn't found and doesn't show up in the map tour.  I've set the flickr album and contents to be "public".  Any ideas on what I might do to correct the problem?

Hi,

Do you mean that the pictures you uploaded on Flickr doesn't shows up? or the Map?
If you can post a link to your app it would make it easier to help you.

The map shows up fine and so does some of the csv content - just not the pictures/thumbnails.

I think this is the url that you can look at - http://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?appid=2a5cd612044c4f9988eafef8ba2ea347&webmap=d8fbbfdb...

Thanks

The URLs that you are using are pointing to web pages not images.
To get images on Flickr you have to find the "Download /All sizes" features and then the direct link to the picture and the thumbnail. You can find guidance some directions (though not up-to-date) here.

The builder can do all that work for you, see this blog post.

Hmmm.. my csv file has the url for the specific photo and thumbnail in flickr and, when I select on the url that I within the csv cell, the correct picture appears.

I see where, in builder, you can place each picture but I already have the latitude/longitude in the csv file to go along with name, description and photo/thumbnail urls.  When I open the "inspect element" in chrome I see that the url looks correct to me and, if you copy that and past it in a new browser window, you get the correct image.  Guess I'm missing the "download/all sizes" function in Flickr.

The URL that you use for the first point is
https://www.flickr.com/photos/123413959@N02/13888905872/in/set-72157644092692454

That display a picture but "inside a webpage", the URL you want to use is (notice that it ends up with .jpg)

I have struggled with trying to get the url's into my csv, finally figured that out. But now, the resolution of my images are poor. In the thumbnail portion of the Map Tour, they are clear. But the full size images are terrible. I downloaded all sizes from Flikr. What is my problem?http://bit.ly/1lqGx8o

I'm pretty sure everything is right and it's just that your original pictures on Flickr are not in the resolution you expect.
Maybe re-upload them? Otherwise if you can paste a link to your Flickr album I can take a look.

The way that I had to get some of the course maps in was by snipping them. Maybe that is part of the problem. But the images, I don't understand. Thank you for your help.

Your image are low resolution. On the bottom right you have a download button, then click All Sizes, you will arrive on this page and see that original resolution that you upload on Flickr was very low.
