Dear all;

We just migrated our map services to a 10.1 ArcGIS Server. We have two web apps, and since the migrations, weird query erros are showing up. If you go the service, and select one of the layers and query it with just "1=1", it returns an error, if you just click again "get", then it returns results.

Just go here

http://arcgis4.roktech.net/arcgis/rest/services/DigitalEgypt/CFC_Hybrid_A/MapServer/0/query?where=1%...

f you see an error, refresh and it disappear, if you don't see an error, refresh and you will.

Thanks

Hi,

This is actually a known issue with 10.1 SP1:

http://support.esri.com/en/bugs/nimbus/role/beta10_1/TklNMDg2MzQ5

It is resolved with 10.2, but there are also some workarounds described in the link above.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks for the reply. I am logged in to the forum now, and every time I click this link, it asks me to log back, after which it takes me to this page which doesnt seem like the one you intent.

Not sure why you're getting redirected like that.

You can also just browse to http://support.esri.com, log in, and then search for the bug ID which is NIM086349.

Thanks for the reply. We did solve this issue by using POST instead of GET in all query tasks by setting the METHOD property.
