I've been trying to use "overwrite an existing service" to update a service in AGOL from Desktop 10.2. I keep getting errors for this, mainly:
Error001566: Service overwrite error:failed to delete service
Error: code:400, Item does not exist or is inaccessible, Bad syntax in request
Running the overwrite tool does delete my feature service from my contents though.
After looking around the forums, I'm still at a loss, my Feature Service is in my 'Root' folder, as some posts suggested it needs to be there. Any workarounds would be gratefully received! I'm trying to overwrite a service in this way so that users don't get affected by changing service URLs etc. Is this possible?
