ARC GIS online temporary/trial account

If I have a trial account with content in it can I use it to join my Penn State University Group for this semester? Also, can I move maps from one account to another online?

Trial accounts are good for 30 days. After that, you have an option to upgrade to a full subscription or convert back to a Public (free) account.  Unfortunately, public accounts can't be members of groups owned by an organization. However, if the group is public and the content in it is public, you'll be able to see the group. You just can't contribute to it.
