Road Centerline Symbols and Labeling

I am in the process of setting up the layers for the Park Finder app.  The Topology map document uses the Street Centerlines from the Reference dataset.  I have never seen the method for setting up the labeling and symbol set that this feature is using.  Could someone point me in the right direction for directions?

Ok, I'm getting closer  but still having issues with the symbols and labeling in the Road Centerlines.  I am getting an ArcMap Drawing Error -- One or more layers failed to draw:  FDO error:  0 [Failed to label layer Road Centerlines -72K(and all the others) for class highway.]  A column was specified that does not exist.  A column was specified that does not exist. 

Unfortunately, I don't know what this means.  I do have all the columns and I do have a class for highway.  So, any input would be greatly appreciated!

ok, this is what I found.  I added the FEDROUTE, etc fields and made sure they were populated.  The issue with the highway labeling -- I just needed to make sure the field was selected in the label section.  Error is gone and symbols seem to work just fine.
