I am working on a script that makes geodatabases out of SAS data tables and writes the time of modification to a text file. The script executes fine if I run from a python shell, but crashes if I run it from a toolbox in ArcMap. The script runs to completion before crashing and only crashes some of the time that it is run (although I haven't been able to determine a pattern for when crashes do occur). I tried to look at the error report, but I am having some trouble interpreting what it says.
Does anyone have any insight as to what the problem could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I am happy to provide more code or more of the error log if it would be helpful.
ETA: It appears that the problem was related to my use of the Make Query Table tool. I had to set the in_key_field_option to Add Key Fields in order to prevent crashing from occurring.
