Our cooporate uses a linear feature class to represent road network. Events are then built on this linear feature class using Linear Reference Methodology. The events are displayed against the same linear feature class. However, the m-values of some records in this layer will disappear randomly without any warning either after editing, or after compress nightly.
The dropped m-values can be reported and fixed manually. However, I wonder what cause the dropped m-values in this linear feature class and how we can prevent the problem happening.
