how to change coding in arcgis online?

Hello, I'm pretty new to ArcGis Online..but so far I have managed to do, display everything I needed such as pop-ups and more but can't change coding..so when displaying attributes it doesn't support my country's language...for instance symbols like ?,??,? are written in some weir way...is there any solution that would help me solving this problem and keep original symbols displayed?

What kind of data have you added to the map? The attributes need to be in UTF-8. Here are two posts that may help. One deals with getting UTF-8 characters in a shapefile and the other with a CSV file

thank you Mike, at the end i simply edited the data in arcgis online, tho it took some time...i ll look on your links and try to get more solutions.
