I???m using Arcgis Viewer for Flex which is looking at services on ArcGIS server. I'm trying to do a query on a service that has about 120,000 features. In order for all the features to be included in the query, we have to change the services maximum records returned by server count from 1000 to a large enough number to be able to capture all the features for the query. This extremely hinders performance or just stops it all together. Does anyone have any recommendations for doing a query on a service that has a large number of features? Maybe a way to search on demand instead of searching what is cached from the service. Is this an ArcGIS server service issue?
