FeatureLayer from Feature Collection not appearing when LocalTileLayer is basemap

I have a feature layer that I've created from a feature collection.  When I use one of Esri's basemaps as an ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer, the feature layer is rendered fine.  When I use a ArcGISLocalTiledLayer that references compact caches stored on the SD card, the feature layer doesn't appear.  The ArcGISLocalTiledLayer renders fine.

Any ideas why the feature layer from a collection doesn't appear on the map with a ArcGISLocalTiledLayer as the basemap?

This error was caused by the two layers having different coordinate systems .  Your coordinate systems must be the same for ALL layers you add, local or not.  I changed all my coordinate systems to 102100 (Web Mercator, sphere-based) and all layers rendered fine.
