Hello all-

I am running Path Distance, using a custom vertical factor table. Everything works fine using Tripcevich's table ToblerAway.txt. To keep things simple, and to try to isolate the problem, I used an abbreviated version, which worked fine:

-90 -1
-80 -1
-70 2.099410
-60 0.060064
-50 0.009065
-40 0.002638
-30 0.001055
-20 0.000500
-10 0.000259
0 0.000199
10 0.000368
20 0.000710
30 0.001498
40 0.003744
50 0.012863
60 0.085236
70 2.979204
80 -1
90 -1

Suddenly, a problem arose when I used a different table in an identical format. Despite various attempts to troubleshoot, I consistently get the vague error "failed to execute" from Path Distance (instead of the more specific errors related to problems with the format of the table).
This is the second table that generates the error:

-90 -1
-80 -1
-70 0.000804
-60 0.000554
-50 0.000408
-40 0.000321
-30 0.000269
-20 0.000242
-10 0.000232
0 0.000237
10 0.000260
20 0.000303
30 0.000379
40 0.000505
50 0.000720
60 0.001096
70 0.001783
80 -1
90 -1

I am stumped, as the first table is in the exact same format and works fine.

Might it have something to do with the length of the decimal? (I'm guessing not - the first table works with up to 12 digits after the decimal).
Or that the numbers are very small?? (I would guess not, the first table has one number even smaller than those in the second table).

Any ideas or suggestions are very welcome. I would also be interested to know if anyone can get the second table to work, or if they get the same error on their machine.

Thanks!
-Erik.
