Resultant output shapefile is empty even after executing geoprocessing task made using Select Tool. The Geoprocessing task executes successfully when run from Model-> Run entire Model and the shapefile also contains relevant data.My way of using geoprocessing service is also correct, since it is returning correct result while executing geoprocessing tasks built previously by somebody else.
I am not using any beta version but Arc GIS Desktop 9.3 .
