ArcGIS Earth 1.9 and Portal Connectivity Issues

I am unable to connect to my Portal (Enterprise version 10.6) with ArcGIS Earth 1.9. It tells me to "Check the URL is correct and the site is running", both of which are true as I can connect using the same workstation via a web browser and ArcGIS Pro. Has anyone else ran into this?

Edit: After reverting back to 1.7, I can connect without issue. Unfortunately this is not a long-term solution for me as 1.7 was retired on Nov 1, 2019

Hi Tim,

I got a similar issue when setup the Proxy of my computer. Do you use a Proxy when connecting to your portal? 

Meanwhile, could you please provide what's your Portal URL like, and what's the security type? It may be helpful.

Thanks for you reply! My issue was resolved with tech support via a change in my SSL settings in IIS
