I have a map layer that is too big for gMaps when exported. So I filtered a national map to 1 state and tried to export to kml. It said check my account folder, but it was not there.
I was able to save as an excel file, downloaded then deleted all states except one. Saved as csv and tried uploading, but it asked for location. Since there were no unique data in the file, I tried nothing and also tried the state. Neither one gave useful map.
Since these are shapes or outlines of Indian reservations, I expect to see areas shown on the map. I even tried uploading the xlsx file directly to google maps, but same issue. No location data in file.
There's gotta be an easier way to export a filtered kml or kmz file for use in my google maps... Can anyone help?
