When I create a feature layer using an existing template, such as "Water Quality Inspection," the feature allows for data to be appended to the related table in the contents -> data section of the hosted feature layer. I created my own feature layer and related table in ArcPro and published to my organizations portal account. I enabled editing and synchronization in Pro while publishing.
A couple questions:
1. Why doesn't my custom feature layer allow appending data?
2. If using GlobalID to relate to GUID in the child table, will the file I want to append have to include the GUID value already? Can I append data based on a site specific attribute (like "Site ID"), and then have Portal grab the unique GlobalID from the point feature and populate the related tables GUID?
