Hi, I have a 3D polygon feature that I would like to rotate in 3D. It is an ornate cross-beam, so I sketched it in 2D, as if cutting it out of a beam while it was laying on the ground, and now, I want to set the beam on its narrow edge.
I am hoping that multipatch features can be easily rotated in such a manner. So, along that line, is it possible to export the 3D polygon feature into a 3D model that can be imported into a multipatch feature class?
I was hoping that rather than hopping through so many hoops, I would just be able to rotate the feature to begin with, but, am I on the right path?
