How does Desktop check out a VBA license?

We are currently running low on VBA concurrent licenses.  I don't think most people need that extension for a specific purpose, but the license must get checked out automatically.  Do they automatically check out with the launch of Desktop?  Can they be returned individually?

VBA can be removed using add/remove programs; it's a separate install. If someone doesn't need it you should remove it. And if they are, they should look at using newer technology because support ended at 10.1.

You should also be entitled to as many VBA concurrent licenses as Desktop -- check with your Esri contact.
