As of today, it appears that when we try to print a report using the Beta Print report generation tool, we receive the error: "get errors when rendering the template: The scope parser for the tag other1 failed to execute". In testing other surveys, it appears that the printing is failing with text fields (in the case above, 'other1' is a text field). I removed the text field from the report template, and it printed with no issues.
Please let us know if there is a workaround for this issue.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Wilma,
We have released a hotfix that addressed the original issue in this thread, would you mind giving a try on https://survey123.arcgis.com?
For the "missing required params" error, did that happen every time you try to generate the report based on a default template? If yes, would you mind sharing your XLSform so that we can investigate further?
Hi Chris,
Could you forward the docx file (and possibly the XLSForm) so we could try replicate or otherwise diagnose the issue? Thanks.
Hi James - this happens on multiple surveys. I can't share the initial survey over Geonet, but I've tested it on the Fish Test Survey (created by Esri) and I get the same issue. I've attached the XLS and two templates to this message. The first template ("doesnotwork_FishTestSurvey.docx) does not work and it includes call outs to the text fields in the report (notes, license, etc.). The second template works and all text fields have been removed ("thisworks_FishTestSurvey.docx) and the printing occurs with no problem.
Thanks.
James - checking to see if you were able to replicate the error?
Hi Chris,
Yes, the issue is caused by the multiline text question. We will be releasing an update to address that an issue with the web form shortly.
We noticed the same problem and I have submitted it to ESRI support - it is happening to reports that worked in the past without any issues. In addition to the error described above we also get the "missing required params" error. The last error is funny in that it seems to work, and then not work, and then work again. To make sure it wasn't something in my template generating the error, I also tried it with the default template suggested by ESRI - that was gave the same errors. I will be following this thread with interest.

Good morning,
I tried it out, and it appear to be working.

Hi Zhifang - as indicated above by Wilma - exporting appears to be working again. Thanks for the fix!
