Problem in Weighted Overlay Scale Value!!

HI all,

I am using Weighted overlay tool, but there is a confusion in assigning scale values, and regarding this i have 2 questions;

Q1) I have different factor layers with different sub-classes like, Soil layer has 5, Geologic layer has 4 etc. Is it necessary to keep the same number of sub-classes for all factor layers?

Q2) Can i repeat scale value while assigning to factor's sub-classes?

Example is given below;

	Check Dam	Percolation Tanks	Farm Ponds
Slope
0 - 3	9	7	9
3 - 5	7	5	7
5 - 10	5	3	1
10 - 15	3	1	1
15 ˃	1	1	1

I see nothing that precludes either condition.

Sir i am getting any error, i got fine results. I want you to confirm that can i assign same number or repeat to sub-classes like i mentioned above; i assigned scale value 1 to 3 sub-classes, is it right?

And my another question was to know about same number of factor sub-classes like, Soil layer has 5, Geologic layer has 4 etc. Is it OK?
