ArcGIS Desktop was working fine on my computer until Windows ran an Auto update on 13th September 2013. Now the program simply crashes at initialization. I am running Windows 10 pro 1703.
I found a previous thread regarding disabling a display adapter, but unfortunately this did not work for me. I have uninstalled / reinstalled several times. I have run another windows update (KB4040724), to no avail. I have re-named various folders based on local support in New Zealand, but this has been hopeless so far.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue? It is extremely frustrating and costing me hours and hours of time.
Does anyone know if / how I can contact ESRI support directly and bypass our local "unhelpful" helpdesk? When I log on to my account I am simply directed to the local company!! It is simply the worst & slowest software support I have ever experienced!!
