I think I have a general understanding of how HTML Popups work in ArcMap. ArcMap generates an XML document based on the layer/dataset fields selected in the Layer Properties-Fields tab. I am able to format the output of those fields in a popup using XSL templates on the Layer Properties-HTML Popup tab.
My question is as follows: One of the fields in my layer is actually an XML field with multiple elements/attributes. This field type shows up as an “IUnknown” data type on the Fields tab. I would like to be able to parse through the elements of this XML field and format the output accordingly. Is anyone aware of any ArcMap XSLT examples that read an XML field and parse through the various elements?
