When I try to edit an attribute of a hosted feature layer feature, the cells revert to the original content. The edits don't seem to "save." I have editing enabled, so why can't I edit the layer?

Hi Diana,

are you the publisher?

check the settings of your hosted layer, maybe some settings doesn't allow you to edit.

Yes, I am the publisher. Not sure what settings could prevent editing since I enabled editing.

Hi Diana,

What browser are you using? How was this hosted feature layer added to ArcGIS Online?

Hi.  Did you ever figure this out?  We are experiencing the same problem.  We are editing a hosted feature layer through AGOL's web map viewer.  Editing is enabled with defaults except "only update feature attributes" is selected.

Thanks.

Try monitoring the edit request with a web debugging tool. Is there a specific error message that indicates why the edit isn't being posted?
