Using ArcGIS Pro 1.4. I will create an SDE connection with Insert->Connections->New Database Connection, and it will show up in my Contents pane, I'll connect, add SDE data. I'll save my project, exit. Then when I come back in, the connection is gone. If I create a new one, it names it with a (2) suffix, as if there's already one with that name. And indeed, if I go to my project directory, the old *.sde file is there, and the new one, but only the one created in the current session is usable within ArcGIS Pro. Anyone else find a fix for this? Creating new connections every time one opens ArcGIS defeats the purpose of even having connection files.
