Editing a shared hosted feature layer

I'm experimenting with a hosted feature layer in AGOL.  When it's shared to everyone, if I open it in a new map with full edit control, the add feature tool doesn't work, and any edits I make won't take.  When I unshare it, then everything works fine.  Is this normal behavior?

Hi pierssen - are you using Google Chrome for your browser when you see this? Can you try a different browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox) and see if you are able to reproduce the behavior? It sounds like a bug Chrome introduced with version 52.

Thanks,

Chris

Hello,

Are you given write permission to all open users or only you have..
Please check for feature services permission issue..

its depends upon your feature layer security permission(R/W).

Editing is not enabled.  I'm editing it as an administrator.

Here it is:  http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=bc6bf5d505994ff58c3b3bc41e841faa

I tried creating another layer and ran into exactly the same problem.

Publish again the layer as hosted feature service enabling the editing capabilities

I don't want editing enabled: that is by design.  However, I should be able to edit through AGOL as an administrator.  Again, read my original post.  Editing works fine for me when the layer is not shared to Everyone.
