How to create subfolders within groups

Is it possible to create subfolders in ArcGIS Online?  Creating groups by department is sufficient, for now, but it would be optimal to then create subfolders within the groups so that content can be more oraganized.  Meaning, a group can have subfolders for creating maps/adding services, so that the organization's gallery is not cluttered with content uploaded/created by all organization members.

I think the short answer is "no" on subfolders, if you mean folders under created folders. 

I was trying to figure this out last week myself as a better way to organize, so would be curious is anyone comes up with a way to do that.    But for now....

Additional Folders/ Sub-Folders in My Content 

....at least three others were all merged into that one. You can only vote on the one above, but you can see more detail on what the others specs were.
