Problem: Mimic the living atlas layer in AGOL that displays alerts/warnings to users. Using geoevent extension to feed NOAA data since layer in AGOL cannot be referenced or copied and placed in mxd.
I have created an input connector that uses RSS feed for weather warnings/alerts. Since I am new to this...I am trying to figure out what I need to create geoevent definition and if this schema matches what I would create as attributes in the mxd.
Does anyone have experience they can share? I am reviewing tutorials and slowly making progress...any help is appreciated.
