Just got back from UC2015, and getting the attached error on simply editing a point file in a file geodatabase.
The dialog box is titled, "Save Edits"
Unable to save edits.
Error stopping an edit session with save edits [layername]
OK.
This is not OK. I don't have any query layers involved, and I have pulled this layer into a brand new map file, same results.
This message is so vague that I don't know where to start. I did check to see if there were lock files hanging around, didn't find any.
Thanks for any suggestions on this.

Hi Amy,
Try copying the feature class to a new File Geodatabase and see if you are able to reproduce the error.
I tried your suggestion, and I CAN save with the copied feature class in a new file geodatabase. So what does this mean about my original geodatabase?
Your File Geodatabase may be corrupted. I would recommend the following:
1. Create a new File Geodatabase
2. Copy/paste the data from the previous File Geodatabase to this one
3. Delete the old File Geodatabase
4. Rename the new File Geodatabase to that of the old one
Amy,
A similar issue came-up before - I found an archived topic that suggests it was an IT/Systems issue:
Hi Chris,
Where is the archived topic that suggests it was an IT/Systems issue? The URL you suggested doesn't work anymore.
Many thanks
Esri will probably need to confirm, but it looks like the archived forum (http://forums.esri.com) have been uber retired.
Thank you very much. I'll check it out and will reply on what I found.
