This is basic stuff but I cannot figure it out, please help!

All I want to do is enable attachments on a layer that I can put in a map, and then push the map to my mobile device. I have a feature layer that I've published from ArcMap. I then add it to AGOL. It imports as a "feature layer" with a "feature service" source. Then I can add it to a map, but its still not a "feature service". I need it to be a "feature service" (I think) because I want to add attachments to different areas of my map. What step am I missing?

Thanks, Alex

Hi Alex. Not exactly sure, but you could try enabling attachments on the feature class in ArcMap (in the ArcCatalog pane right-click on the feature class to do so) before you publish it to ArcGIS Online. -Tobias

Yup... In ArcCatalog, Right-click the feature class > Manage > Create Attachments.

Rocking. Manage > Create Attachments worked. I ended up doing all my attachments in ArcGIS Pro, which was a breeze. Thanks!
