Using the Swipe tool with a shapefile

Hello, I want to use a shapefile of polygons that I created on one side of the swipe tool. I can upload the shapefile (zipped) into ArcGIS Online just fine. I can also pull it into other Web Apps from ESRI. But I cannot pull it into the swipe tool. The file I have for the other side, which does not use polygons I have created, pulls in just fine, leaving one side of the swipe tool blank, or just a basemap. Is there something about this particular web app that is different than the rest? Thanks for any advice.

Are you sure this is not an issue with the coordinate system?

Thank you! I checked that and there were issues. I think the main problem was that it brings the map in, but shows nothing at all until the user zooms in a bit. D'oh! Thank you again.

Thanks for reporting the issue. Do you have a visibility range set for the layer that don't appear until you zoom in? Could you share a link to your app?
