Dear Gurus!

Now I am using ArcGISWPF24.exe and ArcGISAPI31forSilverlight.exe .

Until now, I thought that they were freely used. I think for my tasks these libraries enough.

Contracting authority plans to buy

ArcGIS for Server Enterprise Basic (or ArcGIS for Server Enterprise Standard).

At the initial stage I plan to use for publishing services ArcGIS for Desktop Standard of my friends .

Is this a correct way from the legal point of view?

Hi,

Version 2.4 of the WPF API is no longer supported: http://downloads.esri.com/support/product%20life%20cycle/online_gis/ArcGISWebMappingAPIs_PLC.pdf‌. Instead you should consider using ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF. The most recent release of this product was 10.2.3 and there will be another release towards the end of 2014.

The licensing information for ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF is covered in: ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF

Cheers

Mike
