ArcGIS .NET Dockable Window Add-in - Remove 'Pin' and 'X' icons

Is there a way to remove the 'pin' and 'x' icons from the dockable window (.NET add-in)?

I do not know if that is possible, may be it is but I would argue strongly to not remove them, the whole idea about dockable windows is that that can be docked (pinned) and you need to give the use a way of closing them. May be a modal form with the controls turned off would be a better choice?
