I've created a basemap for a local botanical garden, and published the basemap as a tiled layer. To make the map usable for the garden staff and the public, I've created a web application using the new web appbuilder for ArcGIS (Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS ) The web app is great, and functions like I had hoped, except for the "locate me" widget. The widget locates a user of the map using only mobile or wifi location, but will not use the GPS in a mobile device to locate a user on the map. I would like to configure the application to allow this functionality, and more specifically, would like the app to track a user using GPS as they walk around (similar to the GPS tracking in the ArcGIS collector app).
I don't have a lot of coding experience, so does anybody have any tips on configuring the web-application to use GPS for locating a user on mobile devices? I don't even know if this is possible, but I would appreciate any tips!
Thanks
