The ArcGIS for Server manual says:
All ArcGIS Server clients have the ability to request output data in any coordinate system. ArcGIS Server handles all coordinate conversions for you and sends data back to the client in the coordinate system it requests. You do not have to modify your models or scripts in any way.
Is there a way to influence the default datum transformation used for the coordinate conversion? Default seems to be 'None'. For instance for 'GCS_Amersfoort' (Dutch reference system) to 'GCS_WGS_1984' it is, in my opinion, the worst choice. Any in ArcMap available method would do better.
Some background information: I have a Flex API application with a map (GCS_WGS_1984) were a shape file (GCS_Amersfoort) in a dynamic workspace is added. This works but there is an offset which is the same when in ArcMap the same is done with a transformation 'None' method.
Thanks,
Albert.
