I am having issues when using the kriging tool multiple times on the same dataset.
I have a point feature class of soil contamination levels for 4 metals and I am trying to run the kriging tool to create 4 interpolated surfaces based on the different field values.  The problem is I do one and the results are what I expected, but I try to run the tool subsequent times using the same data and tool parameters, but am getting very strange results.  See the attached jpeg.

Thanks for the help!

The dataset only has 9 values which are not spatially correlated and are not normally distributed.
Which means that kriging is not the right interpolator.

A more conservative interpolator, for example, Natural Neighbor might be better.

What version of ArcGIS are you using?
Are you running it via a script?
Can you send me the data and the input parameters (slynch@esri.com)

Thanks
