Web AppBuilder for Arcgis Edit Widget

A map was created in arcgis online with symbols which were created by "Add Image". When in the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS those symbols that we assigned are not showing when we add a new point to the map in edit mode, it only places a point on the map not the symbol.  The symbols are showing in the template and on the legend.

   What I have found is that when you create a new feature by choosing from the template that the edit widget will just use a standard symbol for that feature while it is selected if you go and click on another feature you will see that the new feature has the templated symbology applied.

thank you for your responses..that worked.

I really think this should be different, it's not intuitive. I initially

thought the symbology would show

up once I completed the editing and clicked out of the edit template.

If you place a point and then click out of the edit screen without

clicking on another

symbol you get a point symbol, you never see the template symbol on the

map.

   You should file an enhancement request on this in the Beta program than.
