Unable to log into Explorer for IOS

Starting  some time last week none of my ArcGIS Online accounts can log into Explorer of IOS. It just sits there "Signing In". This is happening across a dozen iPads and iPhones. Did something change recently?

Collector for IOS and the old Green app still work.

We have noticed this with updates as well and are looking to address this issue as soon as possible. If you have already installed the update you will need to uninstall the app and then download again from the app store. Unfortunately you will lose any "My Places" that you have created as they are stored locally on your devices.

Do you know under what circumstances this causes a problem?  I have a few people seeing this issue after updating, but it doesn't happen to me.
