I wonder if there is a way to remove groups from the drop-down list for adding layers in the map viewer. I see this list of all my public groups when I select Add >Search For Layers>My Organization. I have included a screenshot below. Most of these groups only have web maps in them so there is no need for them to be in a list for adding layers. I want to keep the groups public however because I am using them in gallery applications.
At the same time I don't want any layers in my gallery applications - so I am planning on making groups just for the layers that I would like show up in the map viewer's drop down list (for adding layers fom my organization).
