Hey everyone,

I am using an Esri Global account.

I am trying to filter layers in my webmap.
These layers are stored under group layers.
The thing is I am not getting the Filter possibility when I am opening the table.(screenshot)
webmapid = "01c5041f9f094ac49684a02667dfdc16"
For more information about the webmap, here is the link :
http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=01c5041f9f094ac49684a02667dfdc16

Please help on that,
Thank you.

Filters will be enabled if your layer is from a Service. Looking at your web map, it looks like this contains uploaded shapefiles. If you publish them as Feature Services, you will be able to create filters.

Cheers,
Andrew

Conclusion:
Filtering in a webmap is not possible using a webmap but is only possible through a map service.

I made it using a Feature service and it worked fine.

Thank you Andrew !

It's important to note that the filter is a property of a web map, and it works on Service Layers but not Feature Collections such as shapefiles or map notes.

Hi all,

I had the same issue so thanks for the help. The problem now is that, once I publish the layer, the data in it is not visible anymore on the map (and the attribute table it's empty). Any ideas on why that is happening and how to solve it?

Thank you very much in advance
