Hi all,
I am working for an organisation who avail of ArcGIS online. We have recently started using the Web AppBuilder which we feel is a brilliant function. But in order to get the most out of it we want to be able to develop are own widgets.
I have followed the instructions that are on the following web page Get started—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers but when I go to run the 'start up' windows batch file, nothing happens. I get a static window which is pictured below.
If someone has a solution, I would be more than happy to listen as our team would really avail of using this programme. I am working off a Windows desktop.
Cheers,
Finbar
Finbar,
Once you have node.js running i.e. your screenshot above, open a internet browser and enter the following URL, replacing yourmachine name with the name of your machine:
http://[yourmachinename]:3344/webappbuilder
This should open the web app builder in the browser
Regards
Anthony
Is the machine name the IP address?
i'm not sure if web app builder will work against your ipaddress, I have always used the machine name.
