Hi all, I'm having trouble with Roberts Identify Widget.  The issue I'm having is with a specific layer, Parcels.  It won't return any results when I select it from the drop down, however it does identify when I select all layers.  However none of the fields or popup attributes i set for it remain.  It just displays everything.  I have attached the json from my "C:\WAB\server\apps\3\widgets\Identify" folder.  I also noticed the json doesn't save the configuration I setup for it. Perhaps this is the wrong json file.

My app isn't deployed yet, however the rest point does indeed show "http" not https.  I tried https to no avail.

Leo,

So this layer does identify when your are on all layers but not when you set the drop down to the layers name?

Correct

Leo,

If you have the identify widget set to "Identify Layer Option: Visible" then your map service layer needs to be added to the map and visible in the map for the identify to work. Have you added the map service layer to your webmap or did you add the map service layer using the LocalLayer widget?

It's definitely added to the map and visible (not greyed out in the table of contents).  I didn't use the local layer widget either.  I seem to be having the same issue with other layers as well so it's not just zoning.  It doesn't seem like a security issue since it returns all the records.  Kind of stumped now.

Leo,

Unfortunately so am I. The only time people have mentioned an issue like this it has always been some simple case of them not using the exact url (it is cAsE sensitive). Not sure what to tell you.

I appreciate the help, do any of the ArcGIS webmap settings have any effect on the layers in webapp builder?  Or a specific way I published the layer?

Not that I am aware of

Ok, figured it out, thanks again, I had to add the domain to the machine name of my server.  Guess it didn't like the shortened version.
