Hi all

Is there a way to create a geocoder service that search by ID number or a feature and zooms to this feature when the value is entered.

I am looking for a way to use an existing widget or to create a new one that will allow to make searches by addres, intersection or ID for some specific features: project ID, Utilities ID, etc

Thanks

.

Jose,

If you have a geocode service that is setup to use a 'one field locator type' then searching by an id or name, then all you have to do is point the WAB geocode widget to that service and it will work like you are wanting.

You can have multiple geocoders set up in WAB. When you do, you get a drop down arrow on the geocode search bar. You can then select which geocoder to run your search on.

Or you can make them all a composite locator and search one locator to find any of your IDs you set up in any of the individual locators.

Here is a post to show how to specify what locator was used in the composite locator for your search result and the score. WAB Geocode Widget Composite Locator
